This week we presented our 2-minute film to the class, we watched our short film and then the class presented their views on the movie. First off we have to improve the lighting and work on making the story make a little more sense to what the subject is, later we need to work on the picture frame in our film where it shows a young woman but she is way to young to be the actual mother. With the frame we also need to put up a little memorial to kind of explain that she has passed on. Another mistake, I believe was big, was the fact that we rushed the effect on the pills and did not think of the fact that they take a while to have an effect. Another subject we could change is to add a main villain where he hurts the mother or Zach. We could also work on adding dizzy shots to implement that Zach is under the influence, and we need to improve our transitions to make them smoother. On the walk home from the school we could shorten it to not lose the concept of the movie. With the school we could add a bell ring to show that school is out. Our film was supposed to consist of the dad being drunk and yelling but because of the timing we couldn’t put it all together.
